Enhanced Care Rehab / Concussion

Moura Khair graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Master of Physical Therapy. Prior to finishing her Master, she completed a Bachelor of Kinesiology and Health Studies at the University of Regina. Additionally, she conducted a research study about gait at the University of Regina. She is currently a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and the Ontario Physiotherapy Association.

Her passion for physiotherapy stems from a deep desire to help people function without pain and return to the activities that matter most to them.

With experience across hospitals, rehabilitation centres, private clinics, and home care, Moura brings a well-rounded perspective to every treatment plan. She takes a person-centred approach helping her patients achieve their goals. This approach is rooted in evidence-based practice which is shaped by her years of research in gait analysis prior to entering the physiotherapy field. Moura’s clinical experience spans a wide range of orthopaedic conditions—from shoulder pain and back pain to knee injuries and ankle sprains. She combines manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education to empower her patients with the tools they need for long-term recovery.

Her deep understanding of biomechanics and the interconnectedness of body systems allows her to identify the root cause of pain. She is committed to guiding her patients through their recovery journeys and helping them get back to the activities they love.

A graduate of the University of Alberta and the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, he is a proponent of the Selective Functional Movement System (SFMA), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization System (DNS) and ELDOA method. Normal posture, movement and gait strategies are hard-wired neurologically in humans and can be observed during normal human motor development. To reset faulty motor control strategies to our natural way is an ideal approach to rehabilitating post-concussive patients with balance and neuromuscular abnormalities as well as for athletic performance enhancement. Other skills he brings with him include: Acupuncture (Acupuncture Council of Ontario); Medical Pro and Golf Fitness Instructor (Titleist Performance Institute); and Vestibular rehabilitation (American Physical Therapy Association).
